Welcome Letter

Welcome to All Saints.

I hope you are prepared to fall in love with a new school and community. If you aren’t, be careful as you explore this website and the values and stories represented here. All Saints will draw you in and change your idea of what a school can be–both for your child and your family.

Whether your child is in early childhood or entering middle school, it’s likely you are on this page because you want to provide your child the best opportunity to grow and thrive. At All Saints, we believe the path to a child’s flourishing is complex and requires partnership between parent, school, and even supportive peers. For our part, we bring to bear two exceptional commitments in a school:

  1. All Saints’ foremost educational priority is GROWTH. The foundation of this is the personal care and positive encouragement provided not only by our teachers but also by fellow students. When students feel like it’s fun, safe, and cool to learn, they become hungry for rigorous academic challenges and for rich, diverse curricular opportunities.
  2. Our second priority is preparing students to be both successful and responsible. We teach students to be self-determined AND aware of the needs of others. We encourage students to have big ambitions AND to develop a life-long commitment to service, personal integrity, and social action.

Two special elements of an All Saints experience help us realize these goals: our spirituality program and our International Baccalaureate program. All Saints is unique in Hoboken for offering an International Baccalaureate program in both the Primary Years and Middle Years. (I encourage you to read more about the priorities of the IB program.)

The outcome of all this? Our students leave All Saints with excellent academic skills AND social-emotional skills. They go on to top-notch secondary schools and colleges where they are successful and valued leaders. And they enter the world eager and ready to not only make a life for themselves but to make a positive difference in the lives of others.

We are proud of our work here and would love to share it with you. Please contact us if you’d like to know more or be a part of this special community.
