The International Baccalaureate Programme and
All Saints Mission
Students and educators at All Saints Episcopal Day school are part of a diverse community of inspired learners, researchers, and communicators who seek to make the world a better place.
Our Mission-Aligned Curriculum
All Saints is committed to academic excellence and social responsibility. Our mission is to help children develop:
A commitment to personal excellence
The discipline and integrity to be successful in school and in life
A responsibility for this planet and a gratitude for its beauty
A sense of spirituality through social action and service
A sincere love of learning
This mission was adopted when the school was founded in 1985 and the fact that it remains so relevant is a testament to the amount of thought, heart and soul, that went into its development. In line with our mission, we implemented the IB curriculum – a program designed to “develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world.” Through our mission-aligned curriculum and dedication to community, we foster a student body that understands the importance of responsibility, justice, and thoughtfulness.
All Saints achieved authorization as a Middle Years Programme School in the spring of 2018, and currently is a candidate school for the Primary Years Programme (PYP), with plans to achieve authorization by Spring 2023.
All Saints Episcopal Day School is a candidate school* for the PYP. This school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. IB World Schools share a common philosophy – a commitment to high-quality, challenging, international education – that we believe is important for our students.
*Only schools authorized by the IB Organization can offer any of its four academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme (DP), or the Career-related Programme (CP). Candidate status gives no guarantee that authorization will be granted.
