Choosing a high school is one of the first major decisions students make about their academic future. It is a process rooted in reflection, growth, and partnership. Our students and families work closely together to determine where each child will thrive over the next four years of their educational journey. At the center of this process is a shared goal: finding the best fit for every individual student.
This work is thoughtfully guided by Dr. Engelke, our Upper School Division Head and Director of Faculty and Student Support. With a deep understanding of both our students and the evolving landscape of independent and specialized schools, Dr. Engelke provides personalized guidance every step of the way. She regularly connects with schools of interest, organizes opportunities for students to strengthen their interview and test-taking skills, and ensures families stay informed about school fairs, open houses, application timelines, and responsibilities.
The process begins in Grade 7 with our Secondary School Guidance Workshop. During this important first step, students and their families come together to learn about the wide range of high school options available and the key components of the admissions process. Just as importantly, families are introduced to the many ways All Saints supports them throughout the journey, including one-on-one meetings, planning tools, and curated resources. This workshop sets the tone for a thoughtful and informed search, empowering students to begin exploring schools that align with their strengths, interests, and goals.
From that point forward, the process becomes increasingly personalized. Students are encouraged to reflect on their learning styles, passions, and aspirations, while families engage in meaningful conversations about priorities and possibilities. Together, with the support of our faculty and leadership team, they navigate each step with clarity and confidence.
The results of this work are a testament to both the dedication of our students and the strength of our program. Our Class of 2026 has received acceptances to an impressive range of schools, each offering unique opportunities for growth and discovery.

We cannot wait to see where they choose to go next and all that they will accomplish in the years ahead.
