Why the IB Programme at All Saints Is a Gift
for Your Child’s Future
Choosing the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make as a parent. It’s about more than academics—it’s about nurturing a sense of purpose, building resilience, and preparing them to thrive in an uncertain and rapidly changing world. At All Saints Episcopal Day School, we believe the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme is one of the most powerful educational journeys you can offer your child—and here’s why.
A Framework that Builds Lifelong Learners
Children are not just vessels for information—they are curious, capable thinkers. The IB Programme teaches children how to learn, not just what to learn. From the early years through middle school, students at All Saints engage in inquiry-based learning that empowers them to ask meaningful questions, explore big ideas, and make real-world connections. This cultivates independence, creativity, and a love of learning that lasts a lifetime.
Confidence, Character, and Compassion
IB learning goes beyond grades and test scores. It’s about becoming a thoughtful, ethical human being. At All Saints, our students grow into confident communicators, able to express themselves with clarity and empathy. They are taught to consider other perspectives, to speak up for what is right, and to build relationships rooted in respect. Combined with our school’s deep rooted values, this environment nurtures not just capable students—but good people.
Global Citizens in a Local Community
In a world that is more connected—and more complex—than ever before, children must be prepared to understand and navigate global challenges. The IB Programme gives students a global mindset: they explore environmental sustainability, human rights, culture, and conflict in ways that are developmentally appropriate and deeply relevant. At All Saints, this learning is grounded in Hoboken’s diverse, international community, which gives global thinking a personal touch.
Whether your family is relocating from abroad or rooted here for generations, your child will be welcomed into a school where cultural diversity is embraced and international perspectives are celebrated.
Real-World Experience That Inspires
Children learn best when they experience things firsthand. That’s why All Saints supplements IB learning with frequent field trips, hands-on projects, and an extraordinary curriculum-based international trip for our graduating Grade 8 students. These are not extracurriculars—they are integrated, purposeful aspects of the curriculum that deepen understanding and build confidence. Students don’t just study climate change—they travel to Scotland to meet with sustainability leaders and present their ideas.
This is how students grow into critical thinkers and compassionate problem-solvers—skills that will serve them in any classroom, career, or community.
A Personalized Path to Academic Success
With an average class size of just 15 and a 5:1 student-teacher ratio, every child at All Saints is seen, heard, and supported. Our talented faculty are not just instructors—they are mentors who recognize your child’s individual strengths and help them develop their unique potential. Whether your child is a budding scientist, artist, writer, or humanitarian, our IB Programme adapts to them—not the other way around.
And when it comes time to move on, they are ready. Our students are sought after by the region’s top secondary schools, and they leave All Saints with the confidence, credentials, and maturity to succeed.
Because You Want More Than Just a School
You want a place that recognizes your child’s light and helps it shine. You want a school that not only teaches, but also listens. A place where your child is not just prepared for the next grade—but for a meaningful life.
That’s what we offer through the IB Programme at All Saints Episcopal Day School. And we would be honored to take that journey with your family.
