We are very proud to announce that the All Saints Episcopal Day School has been authorized to offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP), making it the only school in Hoboken to offer the IB programme for all grade levels from Pre-K3 to Grade 8.
All Saints joins a network of outstanding schools across the globe that offer the IB programme. The IB challenges students to inquire into the world around them so that they will become engaged, caring and lifelong learners. The Primary Years Programme perfectly supports and enhances our school’s mission to educate students through rigorous academics that inspire students to become culturally-fluent, caring and innovative young people.
Kimberly Beck, Head of School, expressed, “Transitioning to provide a comprehensive IB experience to all students is incredibly exciting. I extend immense gratitude to our faculty for their extraordinary work. They wholeheartedly embraced this process, leading to profound pedagogical growth and insight.”
Nicole Berhaupt, Head of Lower School, echoed this sentiment, highlighting the transformational impact of the PYP on the community. “The journey towards becoming a PYP school ignited meaningful dialogue, collaboration, and self-reflection among our teachers and students. This collective effort strengthened our sense of unity, learning, and a deepened understanding of each other and the world we share.”
As members of the IB network of schools, All Saints joins an incredible community of passionate educators around the world, and enjoys the best professional development opportunities for our teachers.
All Saints has been an authorized MYP (Middle Years Programme) school for Grades 6 through 8 since 2018, and can now claim the title of IB World School as we gratefully accept IB authorization for all the Grade levels offered at All Saints.
